Other Experience

Head of Design // Boostability + Manta

Jan 2020 – present

  • Oversaw all creative projects for Boostability and Manta, prioritizing against stakeholder and revenue initiatives and routing creative requests to the design team via Asana.
  • Directed the creation, publication, and distribution of print and digital creative across all internal and external Boostability and Manta projects.
  • Led design of the new Boostability brand — logo, palette, typography, photography — and rolled it out across every major internal and customer touchpoint.
  • Designed, planned, and executed rollout of new Manta brand materials across major customer and internal touchpoints (website, social, email, collateral).
  • Partnered with marketing, executive, and development teams to conceptualize, design, and continually update the Boostability website, using user research and best practices to build a cohesive branded experience.
  • Collaborated cross-functionally across Boostability, Manta, and partner brand guidelines, including major domestic and international hosting, telecom, and directory partners.
  • Presented design concepts and creative activity to executive leadership in quarterly presentations.
  • Published and organized Boostability and Manta brand libraries in Figma, and trained marketing team members to build design assets independently within brand guidelines.
  • Tracked industry trends to continually improve creative processes, methodology, and deliverables.

Marketing Lead Designer // Boostability + Manta

  • Directed and designed all creative projects from concept to completion — advertising, collateral, and branding — for Boostability and later Manta.
  • Collaborated with marketing to produce lead-generating deliverables: display/social ad campaigns, whitepapers, onesheets, decks, proposals, and eBooks.
  • Produced marketing collateral to fit Boostability's branding and partner companies' branding, including several major media and marketing companies.
  • Used design efficiencies and project management to meet high-volume demand while maintaining quality and deadlines.
  • Expanded the design role to include collateral management, partner marketing support, culture support, and product support alongside core marketing design.
  • Developed, implemented, and regularly updated company branding and guidelines to build a consistent style and voice.
  • Oversaw and delegated projects to the creative team, supervising while making room for creative innovation and skill development.

Website Design Manager // Boostability

Feb 2014 – Dec 2014

  • Created a streamlined design process that produced the highest design-output numbers in company history.
  • Managed a team of 7 graphic designers and developed an Adobe Creative Suite training program for 30 employees across departments.
  • Provided collateral design support to sales and marketing, redesigning proposals that raised close rate from 2% to 20%.
  • Used Adobe Creative Suite to build web design elements and branding for 175 client websites on WordPress.

  • Provide design services (web, social, email, branding) for clients across Utah and, currently, small businesses on the Big Island of Hawai‘i: graphic design, website builds, email marketing, social media marketing, and apparel & packaging design to help modernize the local SMB economy.
